Note: I’ve decided to dump doing daily logs. Too much time for little return – I doubt anybody really cares that I put yeast in my aquarium today. Instead, I will just be posting results and/or working thoughts in the appropriate tabs above. Not so much for the next couple of weeks, as I’m in grant-writing mode until Feb. 12th (deadline), with very little research going on.
I won’t be writing down which papers I read on which day, but at the end of each week, I’ll list the interesting papers published in that week (keeping in mind that interest is relative, of course). Note that by “newly-published”, I generally don’t mean things that are published as “online-first” or other kinds of prepubs (I’m not a fan of those things), although some will slip through. I only check out new Tables of Content, and any online-first are those sent by colleagues.
Over on the sister blog, I’ll write up a post highlighting my favourite papers from each category.
I will not be sorting them out by day or by journal, because I dump the pages in a tab group in Firefox with no sorting. Also, no full citations, because I honestly can’t be bothered.
